Default What are some good Radar Detectors?

I am addicted to speed and I have too many speeding tickets. So I need a good radar/laser detector.

Any suggestions??

Valentine-1 399
Passport 8500 X50-299

Both are great, but the V-1 has directional arrows to tell you which direction your being hit from.

Go to www.valentine1.com
other than used I believe that's the only way to get the V1.
Passport is for sale at a number at big chain retailers.

Also, the Bel 995 is worth looking at. Also in that price range

If you don't have the coin to drop on a high-end radar detector like the ones mentioned, Whistler makes some decent ones in the sub $200 level. I picked up a Pro-73 since my previous one died on me. From every personal and prefessional review I've seen, it's the best in the class. Hopefully it will be here early next week
