Default What Size Speakers can be put in the front dash board where the tweeter goes

I am wanting to relace the front speakers and the tweeters and i know that the door speakers are 6.5 but what about the dash board. is there only enough room for a tweeter or could you fit a 3.5in speaker in tat space.

Yeah they are very small. I would say that you might be able to fit 4.5-5" in there. There is not a whole lot of room. It is very easy to take the upper dash off so take it off and get a look.

3.5" are drop-in replacements
Infinity makes pretty good ones.

wouldn't it be better to replace the speakers in the dash and front doors with a set of components?

Thanks for the advice. so you have to take the whole dash off to get to them? damn i was hope that the grill would just pop off. and yea infinity does make good speakers. i was thinking about going with the polk audio 6.5 in the front doors and clarion 3.5 in the dash.

There are only 4 screws holding the upper part of the dash in. It is very easy to remove.
