Default What To Get SRT On 3k Budget?

Looking for some input. Just sold my 05 SRT because of financial situation and I do plan on getting another one. I plan on spending around 17k for the next one along with 3k for upgrades. My question is this- For a DAILY driven SRT that wont look stupid on the strip, or at least can give a Z06 a run for its money, what modifications would I get?

I plan on going S2 with a bored out stock turbo. But I want to know what you guys think on a 3k budget- I may have not thought of some things (IE strut towers, catch can, ect). I want to know ALL the details. Please let me know. Thanks alot!

*Reality Check*

You sold your first SRT for financial reasons, and now your going to drop another 17K on a used one? Clearly, its none of my buisness, but what about saving the 3K for a rainy day? That way you won't have to sell your second SRT when life happens. Just a thought.

Well the 05 was a salvage title. I don't want to drop 3k on a salvage. I'm currently paying on a prelude and I just had a little girl so theres my reason. So once the Praypray is paid off I'll be looking for another one.

So go S3R? Hmm.... I guess that would be ok. But I wouldn't know how the guy was driving it. I don't want a paper weight...
So coilovers and strutbars wouldn't be on the list?

Damn- that sounds very nice. I'll have to look at that. But why would someone with all these mods sell it for that much?
