Default Video conversion...

I recently purchased a Panasonic SV-AV10 digital camcorder that records on a memory card in .asf format. The quality is only somewhat better than say a webcam, but the reason I got it is because the camcorder is about the size of a cigarette box. My question is if anyone here knows if it is possible to convert the .asf file into something that I can burn a cd of and watch on my DVD player?

Search foe a video conversion program that converts it to MPEG 2

ex... ASF to MEPG2

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...q=ASF+to+MPEG2

Also Try Virtualdub but get version 1.3 because asf is an older file extention from Microsoft. Because of copyright laws nowadays its a bit harder to convert from ASF to any other format. And don't even think about wmv microsoft locked that up last time i checked.
