Greetings! Besides a 300C SRT8, I also have an SRT-10 Viper and am a member of the Viper Club of America. Well, I just received a flyer for the VERY LAST SRT-10 Ram ever produced, which is being raffled off as a fundraiser for the VCA. It is signed by a bunch of the SRT guys and is documented as the very last of the last.
I thought a LOT of folks here would love a shot at this before it sells out. All of the VCA raffles seem to sell out - and this is the first one EVER to be open to non-VCA members. Here is the flyer which I uploaded to our local site (right click and "save as" to view it more quickly):
It's sad that they quit making them. I recently looked through the sales brouchure for the 07 Ram and I was surprised to see that SRT-10 wasn't listed. I hadn't realized that Dodge quit production on them till I saw it in there.

AGP DBB 50 trim + all the good stuff. Basic street tune, needs some dyno time now.
Best Time: 7.92 @ 88 MPH (stock turbo and slicks)
Best Time with 50 Trim:
8.54 @ 91 MPH (2.2 60') (19 PSI) (Street Tires)
Plenty of room for improvement!
People think I'm crazy, but I still believe that the SRT10 ram is going to be the Hemi Cuda in 25 years. It's an awesome vehicle that wasn't well recieved by lot of people (I know, there are those that just LOVE them, but the majority of people are really iffy about the vehicle).
If only I had 40K, I would jump on one and mothball that sucker!!

I think most car guys loved the concept and execution of it. Hell of a lot of motor and power BUT it's so expensive and the fact you could have an equally nice and truck that is as or almost as fast in the Lightning(that you could mod for really cheaply) for a lot less. Kind of killed the market a little bit. I love my Lightning but I'd cruise an SRT-10 in a heart beat if I got the chance at one.

Actually the stock SRT-10 in every direct comparison destroys both stock F150 L, and F150 HD. Some stock QC Trucks have gone through the 1/4 Mile under 13.7, and some Reg Cab SRT-10s have been in the 12s stock,... The QC Truck takes only 3 bolt ons to get into the 12s, and thats pushing huge 22s with a truck that weighs almost 3 tons. Show me a Harley Davidson truck with 3 bolt ons thats in the 12s. These trucks are by far In a league of their own.
On VTCOA.com a QC owner with a Paxton supercharger Made it to 11.8 1/4 mile with stock rubber.
I didn't see any people die. I only saw buildings collapse. And I didn't see any people in the airplanes. For all we know, the planes were flying themselves.

I've always thought that it will get some pretty decent numbers in the future also.

Not to crap on this guys post, I know how nobody likes negitive posts and he definitely didn't make the rules just kindly passed along the information. Which I do appreciate!
But, 2750 tickets at $100 each = $275000 for this truck? Even 916 (in groups of 3) at $250 each = $219666.67. Is 400 of 400 worth a mark up of over $150 000?
Also, if less then $110 000 worth of tickets are sold, then the winner gets 50 percent of the winnings and someone else keeps the truck. Excellent way to keep doing the draw over and over again. Opps only sold $1009 tickets, we keep $50 000 and the truck, but at least the winner gets $50 000 - lottery taxes, then do the draw over again and again, can't loose.
What is the estimated resale value on the truck that $110 000 worth of tickets has to be sold before anyone wins? If the tax man decides as a result, that the resale value is $110 000, then wouldn't lottery tax be approximate $50 000 (about 42% of the value of the winnings)? Then add licensing and state taxes another $5000 - $10 000, so the truck I could win for $100, costs me $60 000.
At least being a resident of Canada I could claim most of the lottery tax money back, it would help pay provincial and federal sales taxes.
Still, it would be nice to have a chance to own the very last SRT-10 RAM.

Yeah...that's not what most trips to a track will tell you with average drivers.
At least not between the reg cab SRT-10s versus a Lightning. Is the truck CAPABLE of running low low 13s and into the 12s? Yeah. By a great driver on a great day on a great track. On average the ETs between the two is not far off at all...damn near equal. Add into that it's CHEAP to mod the Lightning and you kind of have a lot of very quick Lightnings.
Personally can't speak for the Harley or the Quad cab SRT-10s as I don't keep up on them. Although I probably if I bothered could probably find a Harley running 12s with maybe 2500-300 in mods. Not quite sure what a Kenne Bell or whipple powered Harley would do in the quarter.

The Harley's and Lightenings have the same engine, but the HD as more weight as I'm sure you kne. Even though I would take an HD over a Lightning anyday of the week.
