Some of those guys are so misinformed it isn't even funny. A couple of guys know the srt would stomp V6 Mustangs. So when we stomp somebody like that it's still a POS Neon? They got beat by a POS Neon! I love my car. I like the body style, the power is sooooo nice and yeah, it has a spartan interior. So what. I like cruising in it. If I wanted a luxurious interior I would have gotten a more expensive and probably slower car. I feel sorry for some of those guys on that forum. So misinformed and blinded for most of their lives.

Unless the driver in the V6 stang is awesome and the srt-4 driver sucks, I just don't see it winning. Hell, the Stang that I raced got raped by my car, and that was with a HUGE boost leak, I mean couldn't boost leak my car past 8 psi. Hell, throw a aftermarket wastegate on a SRT-4 and it is see ya to the stang.
sick six, go ahead and race someone witha srt-4. the do run around 230 hp and they are quick but they are fwd with almost no torque and the torque that they do have is mostly high end. i know cause a fellow soldier bought one when we came back from iraq when i got my stang and i took him out. by the time you hit 80 or so you will be around 3 car lengths ahead of him. you just have to know how to launch properly, mash the gas, and know when to shift. i've taken out about three or so since i moved back to the states. those are fun cars to race cause they really think they can win stock to stock.

yup agreed. complete morons. They pump out less HP and same Tq as we do and weigh more. Please. Yeah, the V6 is ugly as shit. There are two GTs though where I live, Red w/white stripes and a Yellow with body kits on them and they look good. Atleast they put down some power. With the body kits on them I like it. Wouldn't buy one but I like the look of it.
So who is going to tell them they drive a girl's car? If I had a V6 Mustang I'd just enjoy my car and shut my mouth about anything else being fast or slow. Period.
these guys must be racing srtdesign cars...just wait til they pull up next to me at the track.
