Default Usec car loans...

I have a friend who is interested in buying a used SRT-4, but he needs to keep his payment under $300 a month. Is it possible to take out a 6 or 7 year used car loan or only 3 year? I've never taken out a loan for a used car so if someone could leave me a quick response that'd be huge. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you could take a loan out for 72 months, but would you really want to be paying off a used car for 6 years, at $300 a month??? I know I sure as hell wouldn't.

many banks limit the term on used cars to 60 months.

If he needs a 6 or 7 year loan for ANY car, he needs to find a cheaper car.

The loan on my new SRT-4 is a 6 year... $300 a month. Not everyone wants to put $10,000 down, or has that much money to put down for that matter. I put $4000 down.
