this does not mean you have 240hp at 1500rpm, it will just give you 100% of what the engine is capable of at a certain RPM. It sounds like a piggyback with "custom" settings for different things. Priced from $699.95 to $945.95. I could only pull up application charts and dyno's for a few toyota engines and a few others, NOT that big of a list of cars it works with.
Couldn't hurt to at least fill out contact information. That will tell them how many people are interested and notify you when it comes out.
I was just looking at there Dyno Results from the 2003 EVO VIII just to try and get an idea of how successful it would be with a 4cyl turbo motor. They did pretty well. You should check them out.
bringing this back to life because i found it in a search........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, I am trying to get this setup with a local dyno shop around here that i visited last week. They were telling me that they could probably get me to over 300Hp and around 350TQ with the UNICIP and some dyno time. As soon as i figure out what it's going to cost and all that, i will check back with you all.........

what a joke...look at that dyno for the evo.....i have NEVER seen a stock evo dyno at 280+whp lmao....how fake is that shit
edit...from their dyno a stock evo makes 290whp...280wtrq LMAO
Unichip has been around for awhile and have actually proven to make some really decent gains. Who cares what they say a stock RSXS dynos? Dynos arent good for worldwide comparison anyway. What you SHOULD care about, is how much they improve over the baseline test. Damn, I would seriously hope you all know better than that......
the thing I personally dont like about the Unichip is that they are tuned for the elevation/density they are at. If you live somewhere different, those proclaimed gains will not be there. To adjust, a piggy back would have to be installed, and then you are killing the point of the Unichip in the first place....
that was pretty great ownage....reading > me heh
...but most of the time when we look at dyno sheets on this site posted by real tuners...agp...psi-fi...we see dyno #'s at the wheels
corrected for flywheel
..yea i think for that kind of money tho....ill go with something that is adjustable/tunable with a laptop

however if you think they will really get you over 300whp/350wtrq.......i want what your ...it takes a good bit of work to get that from the stock turbo. BUT if they correct the reading for flywheel hp like the dyno's on the unichip page... shouldnt take much at all heh...keep us posted
from the unichip site:
"If you have modified an engine component or components or added new parts, then contact Unichip of North America for reprogramming or to find a qualified tuner for a custom “real-time” dyno tune."
it'll be fun getting it updated/reflashed everytime you put a new part on....much more fun than tuning with a wideband, egt and a laptop.

I believe they will have no problem getting me a 50Hp gain with a strong tune.
I mean they do say anywhere from 20% (which is all i need) and up with turbocharged vehicles, and i have plenty of supporting mods for it.
I will keep you updated though.
