I've never curbed it before and haven't hit any big potholes latley and today I look and my front passenger tire has a huge bubble in it. It's looks like the bead is going to be ripped off the rim. There is 15,000 miles on the car. Is this covered under the 3/36,000 warranty? Also The tire it self has a 6 year warranty. First year is free replacment. Should I just bring it to the dealer?
BTW they are stock KDW's
Tires are typically warranteed by the tire company, not the auto manufacturer/dealer. There should be something in your glovebox packet regarding this, but if not, take it to a BFG dealer first. If the tire got the bubble from a pothole, you are more than likely SOL.
Tires are also considered "consumable parts" meaning they get worn down from use, thus are not covered....same with brake pads, windshield wipers, etc. If you can get them to cover them, thats great, but after 15,000 miles they will probably not go for it. 15,000 miles is probably considered a normal expected life for high performance tires.
I got something from BFG in my owners manual, I didn't read it, but you may want to double check the packet and see if anything useful is in there.

Same thing happened to me with my '02 Nissan Spec V. I only had 5k miles on it when I noticed. Dealership said no way. I had to pay almost $200 out of pocket for one tire.
I dealt with this for years when I worked for a local ford/linc. dealership in service. Your tires come with a separate tire warranty through the tire manufacturer. If it is a defect in workmanship it will be covered but if they can determine it was an outside factor affecting your tire (pothole, curb, etc.) they will not cover replacement. If you do not have any signs of a pothole hit, curb rash etc. you should take it to your local BFG tire shop and let em look at it, the worst they can do is tell you its not covered. Make sure to take in your tire warranty information that came with your manuals when you bought it. Good luck, I hope they can take care of it for you.
