Regular Neon Question

I have a friend that has an 02 Neon and wants the beast of an engine that resides in an SRT-4 and was wondering if it would fit in his car if it would match up and be able to be dropped in or would his car need some modifications to the frame or body to fit it his car has a 2.0 liter in it and has a alot of space left in the engine bay so would it fit or need modification........
