*** Production 2010 CAMARO RS official photos leaked \\\

Just saw over at 2009 Camaro 2010 Camaro New Camaro forums, news, reviews, wallpapers, pricing - Camaro5.com (where they're having a party of course).

Not bad I must say.
With a drop and some wheels it'll clean up real nice

Some aspects of that interior shot look rendered, mainly the guages and radio.

Like most everything gm and chrysler make, the camaro and challenger are DOA. Typical 3 years late and behind the ball. If they would have came out the same time as the 05 mustang, they would have been a hit, but to release a bunch of 350-400 hp cars now is just stupid. The G8, camaro and challenger are going to follow the same path the GTO did.

V6 Camaro...... laugh. The V8 is where it's at. Too bad it's coming out when gas is $4.50 a gallon.

No, they are not DOA. The Corvette gets upwards of 28mpg with the 6spd, why can't the Camaro? Over 400hp and decent economy? And lighter? It'll sell like hotcakes. Even if it looks like an extra from Pixar's Cars.

The V6 enables the car's price point to be lowered, as the bulk of everything is carried over to be mass produced. Same reason why the Challenger is available with a V6.

Economy and power is where it's at. Same reason more and more companies are going turbocharged, or big V8 with a very tall 6th / 7th gear.

its not absurd to get mid 30s in a 6spd vette on the freeway if the tuner knows what he is doing

That info is not all complete. Monday GM will do the official release and then we'll know for sure. I'm afraid it's too heavy even at 3747lbs. That's probably the V6 anyway, which means the V8 will be like 3900. I hope it's not true.
