If the two of you are willing to admit it, just emagine how many others are out there that got taken and won't admit it......I can't begin to think how much money that guy got from scamming people.
sport compact pro is a rip off . listen to neonelite his way is the only way for sponsorship and makes you feel like you found them on your own. I ended up not going with them . They are so rude and ebay is cheaper for parts then they are.

i hope you are not serious..ebay only has crap or knock off of good brands which still= crap...and i laughed on the phone when sport compact pro called me(why they called i didnt know) but anyways no real sponsorship requires you to spend your money to get there crap , first indicator of a rip off
Ebay does not always have crappy knock off brands . Ive gotten alot of name brand stuff on there . Most of the the guys and gals on here buy from ebay. Recently Ive gotten some never used goldline springs for 75 bucks shipped. I love Ebay.

Yeah finally I admited that sport compact pro are crap. I"ve sent in like over 15 sponsorship proposols in the last week. It feel"s so much better than going with scammers like SCP.
Heres an example of what one company wants from you when wanting a sponsorship:
• A brief description of yourself and your abilities
• Vehicle Resume including past events, current modifications, planned modifications, other sponsorships, and references
• Photographs of yourself and your vehicle (No pictures, no sponsorship)
• Your plans and activities. Be specific: what events, where, when and why?
• How we will benefit from your association
• How much media coverage can we expect?
• What sorts of public relations efforts will you be putting forth (or paying for)?
• Info on other marketing partnerships and associate sponsors
• How you will handle follow-up communications and activities reporting.
• The terms of the agreement
• The bottom line: What do you want, and what can we expect in return
I like you Dale, but you CANNOT look for sponsors if they are all at the SEMA show now, can you?
After three years of doing this, I am pretty sure that the information I provided is accurate, and if you were to read this post three years from now, would you say the same thing about the dates of the SEMA show?, it is obvious that I copy and pasted it, but most grown adults take the whole writup and learn something, not pinpoint the tiny flaws.
People, Dale is absolutely WRONG! If you attempt to get sponsors now, after they just spent the majority of their advertising budget, I don't care if you own the only car of your kind in the US, these companies just don't have the money to sponsor anyone right now. They have a very specific budget for sponsorships/advertisements throughout the year, they use the rest of it for SEMA, then they get a new one anytime from Feb-June, but they select the cars at the beginning of the year....I have a ton of experience here. If you don't believe me, try for yourself, you will see how tough it is.
Am I saying that there is not one company out there that won't right now? NO!, BUT!, if you were to call 50 companies, you might get 1 to sponsor you or say that they will.
It's only been two years...but it's still a load of crap!
