Sorry Dale, but I am not looking for anything from these members, just trying to help.

And the post above is mine from just about a year ago I guess, and I just cut and pasted it, and it doesn't say anything about wanting to do any work for anybody, even if someone asked me, I just don't have the time to focus on someone elses proposal.

And I think Dale knows very little about sponsorships as it is, APC will refuse 99.9% of all proposals, because they build their own cars, so bite me Dale.......

Again, I don't want anyones money, and I don't want to do anymore than what I have already written, I WILL NOT HELP YOU GET SPONSORS! I only wanted to give information, I see it as a huge help to these forum members, that have given me plenty of information in the past, I was just returning the favor.

Forgive me for trying to help.......

Mods: please delete all of Dales and my posts above to prevent misinformation to our members.....thanks

Yeah, you're right, I know very little about it... just enough to land little companies like McLaren and Mopar...

Just let me know where you'd like to be bitten and I'll be happy to oblige...just remember, you won't get anything that comes off back...

I knew that I saw those posts before...

So, you prove nothing, when did I ask for anyones money?

go ahead search, you won't find it because it never happened, why are you trying to sabatoge me, when all I am trying to do is help? Feel threatened in some way? Usually thats what people feel when they are retaliating like you are. I NEVER asked anyone for anything! EVER!

alluding.... the first step in presenting oneself professionally is learning how to communicate properly.

And APC isn't that hard, it might take a couple weeks of work, and I'd end up with a lot of junk I'd be ashamed to use, but it can be done.

ill agree here ... getting a sponsor isnt as easy as people may seem granted i have 21 full sponsors for my car but if you didnt notice how much i promote for them (look at my group buys for example) i dont make a dime on the products i sell but i get them the business they want and i come through with what i tell them i will do. its not easy work alot of your free time is spent promoting items for them. and if you see some add saying get sponsored for 89 bux dont waste your time.... its a fraud and hell for 50.00 i will give you all the same people that they offer and i can beat their price on 90% of the items lol...

Sorry I will have to respond in a unprofessional way.

Sorry mate, but the stuff you posted is not true and it seems like you copied this from one of the sites that ripped people off, and in no way I will be sticking this up.

To all of you else reading the thread:

I would listen to what Dale has to say, he's been around potential sponsors for a while. And I know for a fact that his wisdom has helped us with the project car and potential (and/or aquired) sponsors.

And I would definetly thank him for helping us out.

OK, maybe I just totally misread his information, but he was simply giving advice on sponsorships and what is involved. I did not see anywhere in there where he was asking to take anyone's money or even promote the sale of a "sponsor". He even goes on to point out there are scams out there and to watch out for them.

It just looked like people read the first sentence of his post and then assumed it was a scam post. I am just looking to clarify and not flame.

**edit** Ah I see, so this same info has been used in previous scams, but does that mean the above information is wrong. Why not create a sticky that does give good information on the reality of sponsorship and also alert people to scams, or is the goal to keep it all on the down low?

thats three people that have said the information I printed three months ago, (and copied it here), was used in a previous scam.....but where the hell is it?........if it was true, lots of people would know about it, thus someone would have been affected by it in a large way, where are they, and why wasn't I banned when I supposedly did this in the past?

This will be THE LAST TIME I EVER TRY TO HELP ANYONE ON THIS FORUM WITH INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!

READ EVERY ONE OF MY PREVIOUS POSTS, GO AHEAD, FIND ONE THAT WOULD EVEN COME CLOSE TO ME TRYING TO SCAM ANYONE!.....

WOW everyone is bashing neonelite10 for trying to help. I'll be the first to say that if it wasn't for him i wouldn't have landed the 9 sponsors that i have. he walked me through it and never asked me for a dime, even when i offered he rejected it. he is just trying to help just like he helped me. he knows his stuff and went out of his way to guide me and he only knew me from posts here on the forums. if u guys don't want to follow his advice then don't but it worked for me
