That's really really impressive. Anyone know if there is a list of times for cars around the ring, by make and model? Be interesting to see how some other cars fair.
here's the best I could find on that, got it off another forum. Some things haven't updated like the z06 and GTR because they are relatively new times. If I find an updated list i'll post it. Oh and to anyone who doesn't know, the nurburgring times are the 2nd column

According to that website, Nissan claims 7:15 with the new GTR.

its still so funny to see an american car up there in the list surrounded by high end high cost exotics.....lol really makes me tingle.....im looking the the ZR-1 vette in 7 flat...lol
Man ... I hate to disagree butits still a Nissan, its has nice features. But if thinks it can run with a porche that will be its downfall. And the price is looking nice but come you really think this car will be the next NSX...i think not! Its a rough looking car with a wannabe supercar appeal. I read the specs on it... not exciting. I dnk maybe i'm just mad that it thinks it can run with a porche.

well that's an opinion. I don't agree with it at all (mainly because Ive been into nissans for years) but if that's what you think. so be it. and for the record, we know it's a nissan, that's like the countless idiots who tell us we drive neons, like it's some new concept to us or something. and yes it is possible for nissan to build a good car that isn't targeted to sell to the middle class. The skyline is a racing legend and that's what it was meant to do, not drag racing like most fanboi's think. so nissan is trying to keep that crown and bump up the bar to keep up with newer cars/technology. I wouldn't say its the next NSX and I wouldn't say it's a wannabe supercar at all (if anything the nsx is the wannabe), and for the price the specs are amazing. Porsche has and always will be one of the great ones but I wouldn't look down on something that joined them up there (in a performance aspect) because it doesn't cost 100k or have a reputation with a high end brand

Yea, its my opinion. But a "hooking up" a VQ engine that so commonly used is kinda . I mean Nissan puts in there vans and suvs, so thats one of the big turn offs. Car looks to unpractical. Looks like paul walker and Vin Diesel were on the design team. And the 450 hp.... ...we'll se about that! The price range is nice but its competion has a to close of a following (corvette , viper) guys.

The VR motor has been proven in their race cars by the way I'd hardly call it gay. And what makes you say paul walker and vin diesel were on the design team of it, that's a first. Doesn't look ricey to me. Not the BEST design but nothing where I'd say that either. as for the power. Well the 3 models vary from 450-520 and with the launch of this car in 19 days and with Nissan coming out and saying that, well I trust it is accurate by now. Now if it was 6 months ago that's a different story and I'd see where you're coming from
