I was out grilling a delicious round of hamburgers Thursday night for momma since we had had another sucessful month in June. I fired up my Hibachi which I will admit was a little seasoned with age and rust, but it was nothing I wasn't confortable using. So I poured a thick layer of Royal Oak hardwood coals into it and lit it off with some lighter fluid. Everything was going good and according to plan. I went in and got the patties and prepared to plop them on the grill. About that time the bottom comes out of that ****ed thing spewing hot coals everywhere. I wound up with a third degree burn on my right foot because I was wearing crocks that night and had slid them off just in time for that
So, what I am getting at by telling you the above, is that my right foot is my acceleration foot. I am a one armed and one footed driver and always have and will be. But my gas foot is parched good fashioned and is currently out of action. This poses a problem. I had to make the run on Friday so I attempted to drive with my left foot. This made the inside a little crowded with my big white @ss crossing my legs to try to gas it. I had to do this once before back way back when when I tore my ACL in a church league softball game so it can be done. With True Blue, there was more wasted space that could be used to scrunch up in therefor making using my opposing foot a breeze, but with the srt4, its so crowded that I have to roll down the window. No problem except for the window is at a really high angle from where you sit in that car, way higher then on 'True Blue' So I have tried popping open the door and holding it semi shut but the dinging drives me crazy so, I'm in yet another tight with this car. This coming on the heels of the watermelon incident that costs me a pretty penny to get redid. I swear that I still smell a hint of watermelon everytime I get it in though.
My question to you as auto drivers and enthusiasts is why do the interiors of cars these days tend to be more narrow and less wide then the cars of old? What is to be gained from a more narrow and streamlined interior when you have less width? It is not just with the srt4, but also with the mitsubishi montero and such too

Go buy a new mustang if you like crap old wide ass interiors where you have to REAAAAAACH for EVERYTHING. The new mustang embraces that nasty sweeping console and nothing is in reach. You'll love it.

How do you drive a manual with one arm and one foot?
And what are you trying to say here? That interiors should be bigger so its easier for those who dropped hot coals on there foot and happen to have one arm to drive?
why do you keep writing these worthless posts about how the srt4 sucks and your love affair with your shitty old taurus, "true blue"? seriously man...no one cares
