I don't know if you guys are aware of what is going on at the 300C SRT-8 forum in regards to Hennessey. But, being car enthusiasts and all, you guys need to check it out.
It is worth your time. All respect for this "mans" cars have gone down the drain.
That is just awful if a vendor came on here talking to me like he does on those posts I would never deal with them. Also I woul tell everybody I could about this person. Does anybody remember that there was Hennessey Venom300 package for the SRT4 for a little while.IIRC it was like $3600 for about $1000 worth of parts.

I don't know what the heck started this all of a sudden...but regardless the guy will continue to make money unless someone else steps up to the plate and starts getting thier foot in the door for those magazine articles. As long as he builds fast cars and gets into those Road and Track magazines on a regular basis...he is not likely to go anywhere.

Someone who has connects with some auto mag needs to get ahold of these threads. Maybe if we emailed them to a couple R&D, Car & Driver, Motor Trend, etc...
Yes. He promised them the work would be done and it never got completed. When they showed up to get their cars back they found he had sold the hoods, tires, etc. There used to be a pic of a viper on blocks with its hood missing.

I'm starting to wonder if it's urban legend or even disgruntled clients?
Considering everyone *thinks* he's an evil piece of shit, how does he
get so many clients? People out of the loop > people in the know ?
ITs not urban legend, there are too many lawsuits in the public record for that. And sometimes customers are rightfully disgruntled. As we've seen here repeatedly, sometimes (Dynoworks, Greg Ledet, Kustomtix) wheres theres repeated reports of smoke, there really is a fire.
As for why so many customers, theres hundreds of thousands of folks who read Road and Track, and Car and Driver, and Motor Trend. They would have no clue except that they read Hennesy makes fast Vipers. So, the send off the car and a check.
