Question Intercooler question

After a couple thousand miles on my SRT-4 I noticed oil coming from the intercooler, I took it to the dealership and they tightened the intercooler piping. Then I found this site, realised what the problem was and installed a $20 catch can at 6k miles. Ever since the dealership tightened the piping I havent seen oil coming out anymore and im worried that its pooled up inside.

Im wondering if you guys think its worth it to take the intercooler off and clean it or is 6k miles without a catchcan or is it no big deal. Ive had the new one on for about 33 miles and its already about 1/8 full.

you should be fine... personally i dont think it'd be worth it to put all that effort into taking it off and cleaning it... shouldn't be too much oil in there ne ways...

i think ur fine to leave it as is

Whether or not you need to do it is a guess. Couldn't hurt to look, that's for sure. I just pulled mine off today and cleaned out all of the oil. I also cleaned out the upper hard pipes as well.
