Been looking and researching cars for months now, and have decided on the srt4. currently own an Integra LS. Found a couple nice srt's in my area and went online for a quote and realized I will have to sell my body and work weekends at a gay strip club to pay for insurance. currently i'm a student and work parttime and take home approx 1100 a month, any ideas on insurance companies that will be reasonable( I am looking to put the car in my moms name)
You just have to research quotes man. Sometimes what works is to find an independent dealer who works with dozens of different companies and find out what he/she can find for the cheapest, you might be shocked at how much lower the cost is.
Never be like my old man, "I've been with Farm Bureau forever, you should go with them", I pay like 1/3 of what I would pay at Farm Bureau, and I get way better service.

^keep in mind fresno,ca is the biggest place for dui arrests and have some of the worst speed traps..........with that said my rate isnt too bad, oh yea and i've been licensed 7 years and i'm 23
my insurance was pretty high back in the day but now it isn't high at all.
if you are worried about insurance being really high at a young age this isn't the car for you. get something different more of a daily driver until you get some driving history.
now i am 26 years old
have mortgage (home owners insurance), 3 cars (charger srt8, neon srt4, and cavalier), with my military discount, multi car discount, marriage discount, multi account discount, from usaa i pay a lil over 90 a month for everything .
we do not have any tickets on file (me or the wifey) in the state of north carolina so that is why it is so cheap.

I hear that. We pay 80 dollars less a month now for three vehicles, 99 bucks a month for a 2003 quad cab dodge ram, 2000 dodge neon SE, and 2005 SRT-4, because I have house insurance/auto under the same company.
yea it sucks in NY, finally found a car i really wanted and the insurance is ridiculous. I definately gotta shop around, but holy crap how do sum of u guys only pay 90 bucks for 3 cars, i pay 90 a month for my integra and its only liability.
multi discounts for military, good driving record, multi accounts, married, over 25.
perfect driving record helps a lot. well i don't have one but i have an out of state license and the state i am in doesn't report it to my home state .
remember...cheaper insurance can be bad...you get what you pay for. do research, some insurance companies hate to pay out. i have heard bad things about progressive...
