Today I drove a 2007 BMW M5 6 Speed, the car is a 5.0L 500hp V10 and the one I drove was priced at $92,000 dollars. It was silver and all I can say is. WOW. I literally could dump the clutch at whatever I wanted and not spin the tires out of any gear even though I chirped 2nd or 3rd it would NOT spin out of the hole which is crazy. It IS RWD too btw.

The manual version of the M5 has a semi defeated traction control that will not allow burnouts because of the inherent wheel hop it has. Sucks I know...
With the right people skills you can get a dealer to let you drive anything, did I mention I'm a 21 year old guy that showed up in a t-shirt, jeans and pumas? In my friends 1997 Eclipse GS? HAH! Oh yeah I've also driven a 2001 Porsche 911 996 C4 Turbo, a 2007 Carrera 4, 1999 Carerra 2, H1 Convertible top Hummer (I went off roading with it even when they let me take it for the day), 3 EVOs both new and used, 6 different STi's (4 at the same dealership, I just kept going back) not to mention they let me take a 2005 STi by my self for the day, 2007 BMW 335i, 2007 BMW 325i (let me have it for the day)... E46 M3's, C55 AMG bla bla bla the list goes on. I was going to take out a carbon fiber roof M6 but I decided I'd just go for the M5. The car was awsome but like someone said I don't think it'd be my choice to spend $100k on. I would much rather buy something like a C6 z06 and have say... $30k to spare?
LOL. Ok, lame comparison, apparently my sarcasm wasn't noticed. I was just trying to make the simple comparison that many cars for less money (even a Neon) are about as fast for a lot less money. Man I am batting out like crazy today stickn' up for the ole' Neon.
its jsut a differnt class, there is no comparison between the 2... if ur going for strictly speed then yea ur correct but that is the only thing of about 1000000 things the srt beats it on...exp... class, bling factor, ladie getter...and so on and so forth

I'm waiting for the day when depreciation will put one of those in my price range...
You laugh, but the previous generation M5s have already fallen into the 20s.

Where is that flag at....ah here it is.
Oh yeah? BS flag huh? Now tell me who in there right mind would lie about something like that? Are you having troubles with your girl cheating? Why be so paranoid that someone would bullshit about something like this. I can give you the name of every dealership I drove these cars at, the colors of the cars too. I like to go out and drive cars and that's it. And I'm sorry but too many people are retarded in thinking that speed is the only thing of value... "oh yeah well my srt-4 with the extra $72,000 could be TEN times faster WHOA" well who gives a fuck, it's not about what car is faster it's the other things that matter, the fit the finish, the look, the brakes the handling the features the build the OMG don't even get me started. I'm just waiting for a guy to come in and start saying "Oh yuh guy, nuh ah I found a 92 Fox Body in a bahn guy and nuh ah I could put a $72,000 dollahs in that cah guy and be fastah then 50 of those Beemah cahs PFF" WOW!
