Default How to get rid of bug splatter?

Im sure Im not the only one who suffers from bug guts and splatter on the front of the car. Does anyone know how to get rid of the mess? I was thinking goo gone and a scrub brush. Pretty sure Ive seen bug + tar removal products but wasnt sure if anyone had success with anything in particular.

wax or a claybar will remove it. terry cloth towel and soap and water should do it to.

The best thing I have found is a product named Splatt Bug Remover . It is a green liquid in a clear spray bottle. I believe Wal Mart might have it. I bought it at a Mejier store, but Meijer only has locations in Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Here is a link to a place you can buy some.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I went to Wal Mart the other day and found some Simple Green Bug + Tar removal. Ill try that, and if that fails, Ill try WD40. Ive tried soap and water, the stains are just too deep or something. Wish me luck.

Soften them up. Spray the front of the car with the water hose for a long
time. (3 minutes) Then take whatever sponge you use to wash your car, and
go over the front with the soapy water. Let it sit while you wash the rest of
the car. Go back every now and then and go over it again. By the time you
wash the rest of the car, the bug guts will be so soft, they will wipe right off.

I just bought some bug and tar remover... once it stops raining I will be trying it. I also have the clay bar kit, I will wait until early summer to do that though.
