Similar body shape as the 2012 Fiat Milano, both the 200 and the next avenger will share parts.

I think I can speak for a lot of us, if not all of us, when I say "Welcome Back dude!"

I really hope the alliance doesn't dumb down the Alfa and Fiat interiors to fit a North American budget. I'd much rather see the price of the cars go up a grand and offer class-leading quality than another nickle and dime fest that sees product still priced above budget-leaders like Kia and Hyundai, but offers the same or less quality.

The aggressive crosshair grille needs to come back. No more of the bland "insert grille here" like on the Caliber, but a true, moulded, distinctive return to the crosshair grille.

Stop trying to redefine yourself Dodge; you know who you are. Don't be afraid to show it, and don't be afraid to recall your recent history. Look at the Taurus; oh we all laughed, but it's back, it's got an SHO, and it's a lot better car than I was expecting.

We're getting Alfas.... not many people will know, but for many Europeans, the pinnicle of a car nut is having owned an Alfa. There's a whole culture around that, and that feeling should be exploited and marketed.

Personally, my immediate future car nirvana would be an SRT-engineered Alfa.

While I agree about the refinement for the interior, I think a lot needs to be said to remember which brand should be high end refinement, and which brand (while it still needs an upgrade) doesn't need the top of the line interior. Chrysler has always been the more 'comfortable' of the line, where as Dodge was the functional rough and ready so to speak.

And hey Hemi, good to see you back on the boards!!!

I can see some pretty significant differences, from the tail lights to the more aggressive streamlined front end with the lowered and widened 'mouth' portion of the grill.

That being said, that 'testarossa' looking nonsense on the doors is horrible, and I hope that doesn't make it to the showroom floors.

Actually this is more of "just a refresh" than you think. It's not a brand new model yet. Also "brickface" is pedestrian-safe.. if you ever hit a person.. it won't break them... as much.. apparently.

Still waiting on my 6 MT Charger. . .

I'll take the Fiat/Alfa chassis, but their build quility and powertrains are kindy iffy.
