I would love to see Dodge or Jeep make a small truck... Because if you think about it.. There isnt really a "small" truck in the market today... Well.. the Colorado is one.. but it looks like arse.. S10 was much better.. haha.

My wife freaking LOVES the Compass, I will NOT let her get one lol
I actually like the Colorado better than the S-10, at least exterior looks.

Jap or Japs, it's the same thing there buddy When used to describe a people, it's derogatory. When used as an abbreviation, it is not. You were using it for the former. It's the same as saying n*gger, or kike, or gook.

It's funny because the Compass was designed to be a Jeep that is more appealing to the female market. My wife also likes it. She was extremely close to buying one until she drove it. I guess that, in that sense, Chrysler succeeded with the Compass design. Too bad it's such a crummy vehicle otherwise.
They just need to use the damn photoshop with the dodge front end and build it, people would go nuts on that thing.
I was pretty surprised to see the dakota on the chopping block, I thought that was a decent seller. Maybe now they will build an actual small truck (and put the SRT-4 all world motor in it?) one can only hope... a nice little pickup that gets 28 mpg would be nice, maybe even higher than 30 mpg with the right motor.
Just like we'd thought they are cutting the jeep models down, which is smart IMO
It's not proof positive; it's just a graphical representation of what we assume to be correct at this moment in time; without adding the Fiat-based vehicles.

I agree, and now that the lancer hatchback is out...
teh dakota needs to be started over. the last generation was good, the current one went down hill...when you pay $40K (CDN) for a 4x2 truck, you had damned well have a nicer interior than the mess that is the Dakota interior. That is the one thing that is holding back sames there too. A better MPG number would also be beneficial as the current truck is not much better than the Ram IIRC
I think dodge would make money with about 4 or 5 of suzq's ideas, to be honest, first and foremost the small pickup based on the caliber, stiffer frame of course
agreed, something on the size lines of the old D50 that preceded the dakota in the first place... Back in the day my friend had a 79 D50 Sport that was white with stripes and a roll bar that was a really nice small truck kind of like this one on Allpar.
