What? No. Re-read it. Refreshed LXs, and all-new JGC for starters.

Good News, stopped by my local Dodge dealership to get a Challenger brochure. I was talking to the sales guy about the state of crisis Chrysler was in. Expressing my concerns that Chrysler was lacking a decent small car and the Caliber was not going to fit the bill. He comforted me and explained that the Caliber plant in Belvidere is a "flex plant" and in a matter of months they could come out with a small car. My reply to him was, I thought it took years to come out with a new car? He explained that the Belvidere "flex plant" has all the old Neon tooling in the back, and if needed, Neons could be rolling out again in to time at all. He said this info come from a reliable source that he could not reveal, and I was to keep this info confidential. 2009 Neon, LoL!!!!
I learned a long time ago, never believe a word a car salesmen says.

The guy also told me Jeep Grand Cherokees roll off the line at the "flex plant" in Belvidere. I said, "Don't you mean Patriot and Compass?" He replied, "No, Grand Cherokees are made there along side the Caliber. Thats what the "flex Plant" is all about."

No.....there is no LY yet. The new chrysler large cars are still LX's. They used LX again for some reason.
