Do you have a 40 Miles or less a day trip to work and back? Use ZERO gasoline. Plug it in at night (equivalent of about $.60/gal) If you go over the 40miles, the tiny gasoline generator kicks in and you can get like 70-80mpg I think (maybe it's better than that?)
Regardless, I drive less than 40miles a day (in fact its more like 20 miles) and love the idea of never having to get gas again (if I just drive to and from work in it)

Oh snap. Man thats awesome! I couldnt imagine never having to get gas again. How much is that bad boy gona be?
I don't really think 35K is worth not getting gas again. Can you tell I'm drunk this is cool. I hate electric cars. They suck.

i dunno, think about it this way - if you have something with the performance like.. the zr1 corvette, would it not be worth it if you didnt have to pay gas ever again?
Granted, i have no idea of the 'suposed' performance of the Volt. Nor do i like the styling of said vehicle. But i do like the fact that they're trying again w/ the electric car.
