Remember someone was talking about Challenger and Mopar Motorsport version? Interesting news...

Quote:
First, the breaking news: Dodge will reportedly be coming out with a lightweight -- as in 800 pounds lighter! -- Dodge Challenger Super Stock model for NHRA racing, as early as March. This will be the only modern Challenger available with an LA engine -- the 5.9 liter Magnum engine will be available along with a version of the current Hemi powerplant. Full details are on our Challenger page and full thanks go to oh20.

Yes, although probably through selected dealerships as there will be some custom dealer prep required.

Getting back on Challenger's NHRA version weight factor, I was told it will be 1200-plus lbs versus the production model and not 800lbs

Who sayeth 1200? 800 is what is on the internal spec sheet, unless things have changed very recently...

More likely Charger and a (four-door) Chrysler.

^ and for those complaining about the non uni-lense that the concept has, it looks like one large lense, with separate lights under it. And you know SOME aftermarket somebody is going to figure out how to shove led's into the center part so it lights up too.. it Looks good to me
.. now if i could only afford that car. LOL
