If they need more idea's they should look at the old 4.7 Charger concept from the late 90's. I really dug that back end and hoped it would've made it to production (well actually the whole car).
And yet, Mopar thought highly enough of it to call it a concept. You guys have some serious angst towards Chrysler these days... Sure, the SRT4 is an abomination, but the 'cuda is not as bad as you're making it out to be. They had some awesome products in the Mopar Speedshop this year.. chill out with the bashing!!

Metalcrafters has done a ton of work for Chrysler in the past, so the very fact that they are the ones who worked on this car (even though they claim it's a personally owned vehicle) says that there could be more than meets the eye. You can see some of the previous Chrysler concepts here http://www.metalcrafters.com/photoga...rs/2007_b.html

Guys, as promised some third party companies have taken interest in building a Chrysler Cuda. However, as I can say, there was a CUDA sitting in the Pacifica studio. Yes, it was done by MetalCrafters. It look very original to the older model. There is another third party company that is working with Chrysler as a coach builder /manufacture with small run on the side in 09.
The reason they can put down decent 1/4mile times is mostly in part to the solid rear axel and its ability to hook and go. But we all know that doesnt mean crap from a dig.
