waaay too much corporate news going threw right now.
In fact Carlos Ghosn has some words on the New Chrysler :
From the article: “”There’s obviously a collection of talents being drawn to this company through the investment made by private equity. We see they’re very serious about reviving the company and the brands,” said Carlos Ghosn, chief executive of alliance partners Renault SA and Nissan Motor Co.
Chrysler’s competitors are closely watching the smallest of Detroit’s Big Three automakers, which is no longer bound by the same rules that apply to publicly traded companies. Chrysler does not need to disclose results or executive compensation.
“It’s going to be a challenge” to contend with the new Chrysler, Ghosn said, “because with talent and money and know-how, a lot of things can happen.” Ghosn was speaking at a news conference on the eve of the press preview of the Frankfurt motor show.”
Is Ghosn being sincere or he is trying to court the new Chrysler into a partnership?
financial minds think that cerberus is getting these people in on the promise of HUGE money to be made. the money will not only come from the company making money with these great talents, but from taking the company BACK public.
the guy from GM said that this was an offer he could not pass up at this point in his career... another way of saying "they offered me a shit load of money"

The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get rich quick theory of life.
