<-- still waiting on news about her truck.. PM anybody?
From what I seen, there was a smaller truck than the current Dakota but was covered over. I don't know if it was a Jeep or something else. RC with a small bed. Jeep?
"The current generation Malibu isn't really a handsome-looking vehicle," said Merkle. He doesn't think the new version will be able to lure many buyers from the Japanese. The likely losers are the Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger, he said.
But Frank Klegon, Chrysler executive vice president of product development, said the cars, both new in the 2007 model year, are doing better in retail sales than their predecessors. Competition, however, may make the company update them soon.
"We may want to do some things that give it little updates, little tweaks, whether exterior or interior, in a window of time that keeps it very fresh," Klegon said.
Chrysler may build more vehicles off the Sebring and Avenger underpinnings, which could take sales from Camry and Accord, Klegon said. A smaller crossover vehicle and perhaps other mid-sized models are expected from Chrysler.

Read to what Klegon hinting too....
I thought the Avenger was getting a visual tweak already both front and rear, it would certainly make since. They need to stop cutting so many corners in this area, maybe this is a sign of change.

Pacifica replacement. Better engine choices, lighter, better fuel economy. Im guessing a small SUV, perhaps to compete with Rav 4, CRV, Ford Escape, Santa Fe etc..
hey cerberus... i hope you are listening. don't mess with ma mopar, that would lead to VERY bad things. you'd have better luck sitting down with a southern black family for sunday dinner and saying church's fried chicken tastes better...
By the time Dodge gets around to making the Demon, GM will have 300hp coupe versions of the solstice and sky on the street...
Yeah, but, they'll still be Brand X, and I don't see the SRT group taking a back seat to Brand X
Not to mention; GM loves to double prices based on performance; ala' SSR.
Lately brand X has been standing up for itself...see ZO6 and Bluedevil.
Still, I'm not choosing sides we "the performance crowd" will be the true winners... after all, life could be worse than having to decide between between a solstice GXP/sky redline or an SRT Demon. I say bring on the HP wars.
ps - Still waiting on my domestic rally car...see Dodge SRT Decent.
