CRAP...man what a listing. Bring on the Challenger SRT Or better yet, bring back the Neon style Rebel Coupe SRT.
X 10,000,0000. What do we have to do for crying out load. SRT better bring quite a bit magic when it comes to the Avenger front clip and body. If they were considering the Neon style Rebel Coupe SRT and killed it, they scrwed up big time.
I don't understand why it is taking so long for the Avenger SRT6. Seriously it should not take this long.

See; i always thought the front was the GOOD side of the Avenger; the rear is where it lacked. Very stubby looking rear end..
The Detroit News
Chrysler will cut the price of its redesigned 2008 minivans by as much as $3,585 while adding features, Bloomberg News reported today.
New or improved equipment on Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country models includes a flex-fuel engine capable of running on E85 fuel, electronic stability control to stop rollovers and tire-pressure monitoring systems, Auburn Hills-based Chrysler said today in a statement.
The Caravan SE will be priced at $22,470 while the SXT model will cost $27,535, Chrysler said. Those prices are $1,950 and $970 less than the current models, respectively, Bloomberg reported.
The Town & Country LX will be $23,190, a reduction of $3,585, or 13 percent. The Touring version will cost $28,430 and the Limited will be priced at $36,400, or $850 and $935 less than their respective predecessors.
What makes you say that? Plenty of people SC the I6 found in many Jeeps - I almost did. Far easier than swapping in a V8 and it gives a more progressive torque curve than a turbo. A supercharger works damn well off road.
The I6 Was different, they are not making a SC I6, They are making a new V6 that isnt special in the least.
And a 6.1 Hemi would be much better... Not to mention the Jeep can sound good instead of like a sick UPS truck...
Wow, they stopped making the I6?!! No fucking shit, pal, thanks for the newsflash. Slap a SC on that 3.8L V6 and see how special it isn't. The I6 wasn't at all a "special" engine. It was a loud and rough glorified tractor engine that made lots of torque down low. It's only major claim to fame is that it is highly likely to outlast any vehicle it's in. For all intents and purposes, the 3.8L is a "better" engine. It makes more torque a little later in the band that lasts longer, it's a better highway engine and it's well proven since it's served in the caravans.
Exactly what is your point? Do you just like poking your keyboard?
A 6.1L is as likely to land in a JK as the gas-turbine that powers an M1 Abrams tank.
Last I saw, Avenger Superchargers was working on a kit for the 3.8L. Their 4.0L kit added over 100HP at around 5 PSI.
I just like pointing out how ghay the SC Jeep is... the I6 was less powerful because of dynamics, not age. V6 ina 4wd = I only drive 8s

Here is the first shot of the 2008 Volkswagen Minivan due for release around October next year.
The picture was taken at a VW Dealer Preview on a Mobile Phone and as such we have no more images.
The VW Minivan known internally as 'Project M' is based on the 2008 Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country (Voyager) and will share the same drivetrain but will have a unique exterior (& interior) designed by VW as seen pictured above.
My first impressions are it has alot of VW DNA in the rear and has taken cues from the current Sharan in the D-Pillar.
I look forward to seeing the front, as I'm sure you the readers are.

"The SC Jeep" - What SC Jeep? I didn't say anything about the I6 being less powerful because it's old, I said the 3.8L is more powerful. I agree that the 3.8L is weak in the JK, but older, 6 cylinder Jeeps in one flavor or another will out wheel anything.
