Thats because they're probably waiting for the next big N.A auto show to come around, so they can show the production Challenger before they do release all that info [like the engine/transmission/interior options lists.. and the long anticipated PRICE RANGE it will sit in.]

300C+Challenger= This^
Too bad we don't have a friend at MetalCrafters....
As usual great chop. I used the C chop for the latest computer back drop. Wheres the PENTSTAR symbol? LOL
If you have not caught the listing for the next Dakota 08 pricing and tech, it reads a 4.7-liter V-8 engine producing 302 horsepower and 329 lb.-ft. That is outstanding news for the 3-valver engine. Even the fuel economy made some gains. That only means a bigger bump for the Hemi 5.7 GEN-2
I was just reading that the new SRT's with the 6.1 will get the MDS feature.
One of the Allparian insiders broke that info yesterday, pretty neat that they got past whatever hurdles were required to bring MDS to the 6.1 engine. There is also going to be another 6.1 variant for the Challenger, but no other details are available yet.
Bigger bump engine is coming and hopefully the ES3 system. There are several SRT 300s mules running around the tech center with 6.4s.....
I forgot to add for Suzy...Ralph Gillis made mentioned in an interview concerning the Cuda [journalist brought it up] that he doesn't want to see the Cuda name to be used either. Also, Chrysler may possible make a limited run on that name. Strange to use a con and pro together - indicating he was against it but they will make a small limited run with the nameplate.
i can tell you both as an srt-4 owner and as a dodge salesman that I have not been able to find a Dodge that myself or my customers can purchase to replace the SRT-4. most are going to mitsubishi, nissan, GM (corvette, GTO), Mazda, BMW even as replacement cars. they still want performance, but there is nothing other than the SRT-8 Charger to go up from. these customers are in the trade cycle. most have had for 3-4 years now and are ready for the next car. dodge is letting these premium customers go elsewhere.
the caliber SRT-4 is too late. the avenger SRT-6 will only hope to get thos customers who have left back, but many of those may have just bought other cars, so they may not be able to trade out of their vehicle so early.
dodge better step up soon or the 30,000 srt owners will become premium customers to another brand.
wasn't there supposedly some fulle size suburban style SUVs running around based off of the megacab platform with a detuned cummins? i remember seeing a pic on the old thread.
we still could use a full size suv like that. people are paying $50k for navigator L packages that get 14 MPG and cant tow squat.

No oversize SUV...I was quite surprise to hear they are trying to salvage the Durango....or maybe....they are changing the name from CREW to DURANGO. LOL
The only I can say about the SRT4 owners, is to keep the car and add more power as I am currently doing. Everything from suspension tuning to powerhouse engine and not to forget updated stereo. No payments on the car and waiting for the next biggest bad boy muscle car, it hard right now.
