homeboy my hemi gets 25mpg in my charger

congrats, my Durango doesn't

edit: homeboy?

So.... you want a 5500 lb brick that has over 300 HP to get 25 MPG? Yeah, so do I I want free cheese and beer too.

Actually, my parents got 21mpg in their HEMI Durango a few different times on road trips. That was before MDS was available on it as well.

With regards to the comments on the Crossfire, there is one simple reason why it didn't sell as well as they hoped. Price. There were just too many other options out there in the same price range. It is a great little car, and the SRT versions always wound up impressing people the most at the SRT driving experience from people I have spoke to and posts I have seen in threads. When dealerships drastically marked down the SRT versions about a year ago (and probably now if you can find them) they were a great deal.

Definitely! The SRT-6 was my number 2 at the track experience:

also, they are REALLY popular in Germany. I was over there last month for two weeks and I saw an incredible amount of Crossfires!

I can't decide on which one to comment on! Mostly good stuff, with the exception of the GC/Commander part.

What about the Demon?
Rebel is what? The Caliber sedan to replace the Neon, right? Make an AWD SRT-4 and I might be interested. This whole FWD w/high HP has GOT to go... it's just not fun anymore.

well DCx DID co-work on the EVO. So it just might be a little competition to that. It'll just be a bit late to the party. At least we wont have to worry about the competitive styling from the WRX side of life.

Hemidakota always said prior to the Caliber release that Dodge was supposed to get their own version of the Evo X. Until they decided not to at the last minute. So wouldn't be too surprising to see the Rebel come out as Dodge's version more or less.

As for the information PVO man provided....thanks a bunch! It's all great and exciting stuff. Please...PLEASE...let them show a Cuda!!!! What an awesome car to revive if they so choose to. Don't put anything less than the 6.4 HEMI in it I say.

What, because Bob Sheaves -- a truck-chassis engineer who hasn't been employed by Chrysler in years and has been known to confuse facts and opinion a time or two -- said so?

I have no opinion on this either way but I sure wouldn't take Bob's word for it.

What's the third "C" then?

Cordoba? i unno - but i'm believing Bob for now; simply because I dont know him, and have no reason to doubt. I'd rather it be that way than the other way around like most people

This hurts. I liked the size of the GC and was hoping this thing wouldn't bloat. Why increase the size of a successful vehicle to replace an unsuccessful one?

Is it possible to expand the Gen 2 Hemi to 10 cyl?

Please!! I'm still hoping for a RWD SRT version, along with a small list of performance technologies such as:
  • VTG turbo
  • Ethanol injection (ala MIT)

Keep both. Hopefully a future platform can support both the Crossfire and the Demon while the ZC supports the Viper & Firepower

I wonder if this may bite into Challenger sales (unless it's at a lower price point to compete directly with the Mustang/Camaro). I'd like to see what Gale does with this.
