Its says something about a bigger nozzle turbo - no idea what that means. It said the same thing in the R&T article where the MR and STI were compared head on. The MR won....

but its only 5 hp more? lol hopefully the extra gear can keep it up with the sti
Is it the evo that is being released over here? In England they are releasing a larger turboed 300whp evo if it is not already out. It will not be released in the u.s. The one being released in the states is not as powerful but cost another 3-4 grand more.
The um ends of the turbo are bigger, so it can flow more, and it also has lighter wheels, lighter roof, and a retuned suspenion to compensate for the weight-reduction.
there was an article on it a couple months ago...forgot what magazine. evo8 is 270hp/270tq while the mr is i believe 275hp/290tq. quarter mile in like 12.9

woah for 12.9 its worth it <warrantied!!!> hmmm sometimes magazines get "healthy cars" too tho
CD did a 13.08 in a stock EVO 8. No MR no RS, so it had to be faster, sounds about right
hmm i wonder if someone making the payments would be able to get that tho.... i mean a 7k rpm dump would get good times in a awd car ... but youl be replacing clutches and axles

Haven't you heard, Mitsubishi's don't come with warranty's, and if they do they just take it from you at your first oil change so it is good for 3/3,000.
