Any specs on the Viper's? I'm hoping it gets some form of a blower
Most Viper owners don't want a factory blower, because they like to be able to add it themselves as an upgrade.
If that's the case, most Viper owners are morons.
I'd much prefer a factory boosted car. It's far easier to add a better blower/turbo later because the engine is built for it, and the PCM was meant to handle it.

I'd much prefer a car that was able to meet the competition without boosting. I know that's not a popular opinion among Mustang owners, but that doesn't make the rest of us morons.

Then why did you say Viper owners preferred n/a only to add boost later?
And why on earth would you want to handicap yourself? Anybody who's serious about competing uses boost. The fastest cars on earth use boost.
Actually the fastest land speed cars use jet engines.
I'd much rather an un boosted 600 HP motor. It has more room to grow if desired. Any "Factory" boosted car needs the "Booster" upgraded to make serious HP gains anyway, so you are paying for a power adder twice, in the purchase price, and in the upgrade. Furthermore most (SRT-4 is definately NOT one of these, with the stock bottom end proving its mettle to 500HP)factory boosted motors STILL need a bottom end upgrade when turning up the wick.

True but a factory boosted car will be built with a more stout engine. You would have to do a motor build on any car to achieve maximum potential out of the motor but the difference is a factory boosted car will be able to have more power extracted with less money on the street.
