Oh wait, that's only the hatch and not the sedan...
The interior on my 1991 Daytona Shelby IROC is still my favorite interior on any car I've had. Dodge did a great job with the interior. Now if only the car didn't weigh so damn much heh.

The '90+ Daytona/LeBaron (coupe/convertible) interior was probably one of their nicest that ever came in any of the K-based cars. As far as weight the Daytona isn't that bad... if you get one of the pre-production cars that came as essentially option-delete with only ABS.
I hope everyone realizes that the Camry in discussion that is pretty much in the same ballpark as a stock SRT-4 is not that show car, but your plain jane, run of the mill basic V6 Camry as tested by C&D. As for that aftermarket body package you can find more info here.

Except for the part where it costs about 6 grand more heheh.
You know what is sad about this though? Here is Toyota putting an engine like this in a plain jane Camry, yet they put such a completely anemic motor in the Scion Tc. 161 horsepower? a 7 second 0-60 time and 15's in the quarter... way to go Toyota.
I still want one. too bad finding one that hasn't been molested more than a child at Michael Jackson's house is damn near impossible...
Hahhha, love that quote,
I picked up a Spirit R/T for the wife and its pretty clean, just need to put the engine back together. I see clean R/T's on Ebay all the time, you just gotta be patient.
I love the Scion's but there so gutless, I wonder why Toyota did that?

1991 Spirit R/T-have all the parts, no time to get it running,
i heard they are making good numbers on those tc motors with FI not sure if they are built or not though.
it's like the bastard red headed whore child of all the imports though lol.
Yep, you look at her and think "wow, that's a good lookin' red head" but then you get her bra off and find she stuffs her bra and it was all an illusion
But yea, there are some badass Sedans out there...
Try reading: UNDER $25K. If we bump the cap up to $30k, then the Z is on the list. Defensive = you!

It is a great time to be living in when a Camry is considered one of the fastest cars in it's price range. I think.

Mazdaspeed 3 is faster than that, traps over 99mph usually too. Camry is a fast car, but it is a peice to drive. Its a family cruiser, not a hot rod. Don't see why its suprising, altima se-r's have been that fast for a while, took honda and toyota forever to catch up.

Easy explanation. The test comparison you quoted for the faster MS3 result was from the May issue and the quickest 0-60 one was from earlier in the year in February. Since there are variations between cars and test sessions (track location, weather, etc.) it's very well possible they hustled one to sixty a little quicker, just like the Camry or MS3 might be a little quicker or slower if they tested them again today.
