Easy explanation. The test comparison you quoted for the faster MS3 result was from the May issue and the quickest 0-60 one was from earlier in the year in February. Since there are variations between cars and test sessions (track location, weather, etc.) it's very well possible they hustled one to sixty a little quicker, just like the Camry or MS3 might be a little quicker or slower if they tested them again today.

What I find more impressive, is the way the camry gets off the line with comfort based all seasons, not aggressive summer tires like the msp3 has

i think its funny that the MS3 supposedly goes 0-100 in 13.6 seconds but only runs 14.0 in the 1/4 at 101 that makes no sense

You know what dude, I always notice that too. Like a car will do the quarter mile in 14.4@96, and then takes 16 seconds to get to 100, so it takes 1.6 seconds to go four miles an hour? Look at car stats, this shit always happens, it's fucking weird.

Odd, they had 5.5 and 14.0 in their earlier test and 14.2 @ 100 and 5.6 0-60 in the comparo against the csrt4... how can they screw up their own numbers?

The Cobalt should have the title now. It ran a 13.9 stock @ 102

For a stock midsize, front wheel drive family sedan on all season tires? Yeah, it's not bad at all.

The skid pad is a joke, put some goodyear pilots on a freaking geo metro and watch what happens.

exactly, slalom and understeer ranking are what matters. Ms3 slaughters in slalom, cobalt ss is insanely fast through it, I was completely shocked.

You guys are so retarded, don't you understand that if a camry is faster than a ms3, it's also faster than an srt4 since the ms3 and srt4 run the exact same times?
