Default Bone Stock 2009 Ram R/T 13.77 pass vid inside

Yesterday my friend was looking to get a few good passes under his belt before the end of the season in his 2009 Dodge Ram R/T. He wasn't really feeling up to driving, so I gladly obliged. I did about 8 passes and they were all solid. The fastest time of the day was a 13.77.

Videos are on the way, one of it racing a supercharged mustang and winning. The other is just a lone pass of the 13.77. I was way impressed. With the time corrected for the conditions it's actually a 13.76 but who cares..

Here is the timeslip for now until the video gets posted...

Spraying it? If not, that's a really surprising time!

....even if it was sprayed, come to think of it.

the lowering kit is slightly heavier than stock.

19mpg, don't have to use premium, and I can haul my welders and bottles around. I'm good with that.

It was in Lapeer Michigan. A farm town track that is not well kept. It was just a great day for racing and a better day for driving..

Nope, it was actually at a track that is know for being a bit slow if anything. Lapeer Dragway in Michigan.

That time in Bristol was on 87, with luggage, in the worst weather for racing possible, with the truck being about 2 weeks old. The corrected time was still a 14.0.

Yesterdays runs were on (mostly) 93 octane and in perfect weather.

R/T's are only sold as RWD config. a fancy R/T badge, body colored grill, higher stall converter and 4.10 gears are standard on the R/T

That's flying for such a heavy truck. I took my 2002 Ram 1500 to the track a couple years ago for shits & gigs. Best I could do was a high 15 @ about 87 mph.

The 09s, even the non-r/t trucks, haul tail.

Nice run! Not all that shocking considering it only weighs about 500lbs more than an LX and it gets the 390hp 5.7 with 4.10s.
