Default AWD tranny tuning

for an AWD car ,would'nt it be benificial to mod out the tranny and it's internals as well as beefing up the chassis and suspension to really take advantage of the AWD launch?? things like an aftermarket transfer casing and clutch as well?? just curious, i never owned an AWD car before and was wondering if these are some things that AWD owners regularly do.i have seen some really mean launches with AWD ..bastards

Trannies can be a weak point in AWD cars. depends on the car. Like alot of WRX owners start modding and esplode their trannies, then they end up putting in the STI tranny because the WRX tranny cant take the power.
