Are you allowed to make long distance calls?

I'm still waiting for you to return my call.

Perscribed.....er, subscribed.

I have to agree with 1Lap...losing 122 posts isn't really that sad. However, losing this post might be. Regardless, I'm enjoying this. (Though, trying not to get piss on me is a bit tiring.)

I would agree. Not that this thead has to die; there's still the vital matter of whether the Phaeton is a watered-down A8 or an unpimped Bentley.

I'll return to SRTF when we have our Viper ACR track test up... if anybody cares about that stuff. I know that I care. Maybe if some of you guys would make me an offer for my SUPER-SIZED USED JETTAS LOLZ I could get a Viper ACR of my very own. With seven cars in my driveway at the moment, plus press loaners, I need to clear the decks a bit before I can has my own vipar.

Still think you're a baller now big boy? How did I guess you were gonna say you had a boxster, ultimate poser ride for the broke ass badge whores.

So your justification for purchasing that giant overpriced Jetta was because Bently dipped into the VW (parent company) parts bin and used some crap from your car? OMG, lemme guess you think you drive some kinda watered down Bently now? Or is it a 4 Door Veyron? hahaha

eBay Motors: Lexus : LS (item 290242832426 end time Jul-08-08 18:31:17 PDT)

A Lexus LS430, half the mileage of the Phaeton you posted, only $16,990!!!

eBay Motors: BMW : 7-Series (item 300223417280 end time May-15-08 19:00:58 PDT)

An '06 750i, probably less than two years old, that was $120K+ new, only $37,995!

It started me thinking... what if there's something weird about these cars? Like, what if they have salvage titles, or have been wrecked, or are simply auction rats?

But then I thought... who has more experience purchasing $50-100K cars, me or this WTF guy? And I figured it was probably you. So I'm gonna call them and find out how I can get more bargains from them.

That kind of hurts my feelings. We can't all afford a 911. I mean, I happen to have one as well, but that doesn't mean that people who buy a Boxster are broke, just because I'm kind of broke and I have a Boxster.

Did you go right to the 911, or did you get a Boxster first? I had my 911 first, but I got the Boxster so I could run it in National Solo. The only 911 that really cuts the mustard in National Solo is the GT3, and I don't have the kind of raw cash you probably have, so I had to settle for just a regular 911 and a Boxster S.

Now here's the funny thing. Some times I drive my Boxster just for fun. Don't tell anybody, but it's pretty much a lot like a 911. You can probably tell the difference more than I can. Maybe I'll sell my 911 so I can afford to replace my Phaetons with a Bentley. But then you'll probably make fun of my Bentley too, by finding out something cheap about it, like,

"OMG U DIDNT GET MULLINAR SPEC U R SO POOR."

It's tough keeping one step ahead of people who are so clued-in. In the meantime, here's another picture of the Boxster, since you seem to have an interest. Why don't you post a picture of your 911/F430/whatever, and then we'll have kind of a car club of our own?

chiming in...

don't have issues with anyone on this thread, but the boxster is, without question, a poser ride.

a guy who i work with, who just happens to be gay, said that the exhaust in the rear center looks like an invitation for, well, you know what.

I guess the intrawebz is done broked in Canada!

LMK...so I can work something into my schedule....

I've got 3 track weekends in the next 5 weeks and then it's time to rebuild the tranny and get ready for Nationals!

Then hopefully off to Watkins Glen (not sure on that one yet) and then Buttonwillow/Laguna Seca and then back to RA late in the year....

Sure...buddy...we should all read your pathetically retarded articles when you have absolutely no clue about cars.

i have to disagree with the phaeton comment. it's an A8L with a 6.0 W12 or the 4.2 v8 and quattro awd, not that haldex nonsense. overpriced for a vw, but it's an audi.
