pretty decent.
looks like they have a lot of ECM obstacles to tackle before they make much more power though.

i think there biggest hurdle is / was there direct injection asnd the mechanical fuel pump

Well I cant get the link to open any more, but I did read it some. From what I can see they are running into some of the same issues tunners are running into on the Speed3. Seems the ECM is cutting throttle at highter RPS to protect the engine. Also they are using about 400 or so PSI more fuel presure then the Mazda guys. It looks like the motor is stronger over all cause the Speed3 motor is poping at 400ish. Ill read it more later.

Just out of curiosity, is Chevy still making the SS/TC or did it get cut from the line? I'm happy to see it putting out good numbers.

Sedan was killed last year, coupe is gone after this year (IIRC).

^^^ what he said....although Chevy has said it would only be a limited return for 2010. they didn't build a ton of them for 2008-09, mostly due to vendor / supply chain issues.
