Default 2015 SRT Barracuda!

update : (March 8th 2012)
From AllPar - the engine in the new SRT Barracuda will be a 6.2l Hemi with a supercharger. This platform will appear on the Barracuda first before it moves to other SRT vehicles (supercharged 300c baller as fukz!?!?!?)

say goodbye to the Challenger supposedly the barracuda is being designed by ralph... heres the story.

2014 Ford Focus RS, A Dodge Barracuda, And Santorum Spreads His Anti-Bailout Message

no pictures yet, but im sure there will be over the next coming year or 2.

Quote:
2nd Gear: Will The Barracuda Replace The Dodge Challenger?
With the Dodge Challenger's two key competitors, the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, both due for major updates in the 2015 model year, Motor Trend's reporting that Chrysler design chief Ralph Gilles is designing a new Barracuda to replace it. Using the Dodge Charger/Chrysler 300's last-generation platform, the Challenger is by far the largest car in this segment, at 197.7 inches long on a 116.0-inch wheelbase, 4.2 inches shorter than the Charger's wheelbase. The Challenger is that long because it needed to mimic the 1970-'74 Dodge Challenger's proportions while using the Charger's tall front cowl. But a Barracuda replacement could be much more trim, though still on a RWD platform.

if if wasn't for the crosshair, the white one looks like a Mustang. Much prefer the GTX rendering.

it'll have to be on a new or nearly-new platform. LX/LC is just big and bulky.

We dont love the big bulkiness but the Muscle guys would be pissed if it was small and compacted.

They're gonna just make the thing smaller by a bit; or it'll just be an SRT-exclusive version.

I'm surprised car companies are still even considering these big muscle cars with the way they are predicting gas prices to go. Especially by the year 2015? Probley be an easy $5.00 a gallon by then. Most definitely wouldn't be looking for a v8. lol Unless they can get them into the 30's mpg range on the highway.

Make it closer in weight to the Mustang or don't bother.
