Default 2001 camry vapor purge issues....

Ok, so the car in question here is a 2001 Toyota Camry 4cyl(2.2) Auto, 92k miles. I bought it with no cel's, drive it for 2 days and i get a cel. Had it scanned and it was a EGR code. First thing i did was pay for the most expensive part because im a dumb ass, i went to Toyota and bought a EGR valve and replaced it. Re set code, and it was back in 15 miles. Then i changed the EGR solenoid, re set code. Came back in 15 miles. So then i did some research and figured out that the Vapor canister purge goes bad frequently...So i ordered one from rock auto and this is what i got:

This is what i need:

Both:

So...I was thinking, could i just run a T to the new one since it has 2 ports? I dont understand what to think because rockautos website says this specific purge valve is used on Camry's, solara's, and T100's ranging from 95-2001...

What should i do?

Being that the code is for EGR system, I dont think replacing the evap canister purge solenoid is going to do jack squat for ya because they are seperate systems. What is the code your getting? I have seen a couple of these cars with this issue and a new VSV fixed both of them. I would try that before you do the canister purge solenoid. Just my .02
