Default 07ish Roush Mustangs, Educate me

Sooo I came across a 07(I believe) Roush Mustang. We played. His missed 3rd the first time and was even, I screwed up and spun 2nd bad. Then the 2nd time he let me jump and I pulled on him from 2nd till top of 3rd.

Now I didn't notice any writing of supercharged etc on the hood but when i look up pictures online I see that, but I also saw a "Stage 1" Roush and it didnt have the same hood, just a stock one looking one.

Anyways, whats the most basic Roush performance wish you could buy for an 07? What mph do they run in the 1/4? I was expecting some poundage coming my way but didn't happen.....

It looked like this 1 ... Roush Mustang on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
but I didn't notice any supercharged writing on it, but I didn't look for that much detail. I was just talking to the guy, fluffing his cock lol so he would give me a run haha

I've always thought it was such a joke to have a 'stage kit' that was nothing more than an appearance package. roush should be ashamed of themselves, as should any mustang owner silly enough to actually install it on their car with no actual roush performance upgrades.

if it was a stock gt then you should've worked him.....i don't see how you barely pulled on him unless you're close to stock as well.

A stock SRT-4 won't pull a stock 07 GT Mustang.

I have a 3" downpipe and a useless mopar bov..... Im spiking up to 16-17 falling to 14 in 3rd since just installing the bov, i dunno why(considering ive reset the pcm). It doesn't seem any faster, seems the same as it should. could just be the crappy stock gauge or maybe the first evening with cooler temperatures(im in orlando so its been hot as balls till just the other day, although its back in the 90s again now blah) and it needed to adjust for cooler air.

Anyways From 2nd through all of 3rd I was pulling on him.
I'm not saying its right or anything, just that is what happened.
He said that thing is quick and asked me what I had under the hood etc. while looking seriously disappointed.

So believe what you want, I'm just inquiring about the roush's, don't care about people reading into my story picking it apart. etc.

Thanks for the intel

I saw a Roush Focus that I thought was hilarious. I mean, after paying for a Focus and a Roush body kit, they could have actually gotten something that performed instead of just looked like it. I don't get it.

IIRC, Those come with a bottle of Nitrous inside, but if you use it it voids the warrenty

^^^The focus does. It comes with a wet shot hooked up and an unfilled bottle.

The roush S3 is nothing to joke about. Around 460hp with a factory warranty. It will outrun a GT500 cobra, and has the handling too. The S1, like said above is just a body kit. The s2 is susp and exhaust. You raced a basic GT, it was a drivers race with your mods. If he was S3 he would have walked you.

The roush F150's used to be pretty nasty too.

UK is right, the Saleen Focuz N02 was the one with the wet kit that voids warruntees! But there was also another Saleen Focus that looked exactly the same, just didnt have the gas.
