blew off alot leaving my old school, some kid asked me if I had an air shifter

someone got in and saw all the gauges (3 on the A pillar) and asked if the car comes like this or if I built it

had some girl ride in it and tell me the exhaust was obnoxious... told her to get out lol

on a good note... had an older guy in a new challenger pull up next to me and say "nice car!"... we need less haters

Geez where do I start, there's so many.

"It's still a neon", we all get that.

Sometimes I get "yeah the car is quick but it's because it's a Mitsubishi motor" (it's sad when I get that from other SRT drivers).

Then you get the passenger comments "what's that thing?" (pointing to turbo gauge), or my 50 y/o aunt heard the spool & blow off between shifts and asks "what's that, your tire?"... I said Geez, I hope the hell not! LOL

Gezzz, I used to hate the rear window and Mitsu engine comments. I had my car since 06 and only twice someone sat in my back seat. I didn't even know there were roll down windows back there until after owning my car for 3 months. Second, it's a Dodge engine. In all honesty, if Kia made my engine and it was this reliable, I'd still buy the car. I don't know why the haters try so hard to prove it's not an American car but yet they are quick to call us "rednecks" for owning a Dodge.

I also heard, "He just put a body kit on his Neon. It's not a SRT-4 because it doesn't have the wing on it." I didn't know the wing defined our cars. I've been wingless since the day I bought my car.
