I have an 08 Evo X. Unfortunately I haven't raced anyone since I got my exhaust and tune.
Before tune:
Late model Civic Si (won, 5 cars at least without launching)
Cobalt SS SC (won, 2 cars from 60-120)
08 Maserati Gran Sport, 400 HP tuned (lost, 2 cars from 0-130)
2004 Neon SRT4 (dead even from 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 roll, won by half a car at 70 roll)
Audi TT Quattro Roadster (at least 4 cars from 20-100)
Only car I've raced since the tune is the same stock SRT4. We were in very limited space so all we could do is a 60-90 roll, and I won by at least 1 car, maybe 1.5. I saw him completely in my rear view mirror.
The Evo X is slow as dirt stock. Since these races I've been dyno tuned and added a catback exhaust and air filter which put me +53 whp. I know I would beat the Maserati now...I wish I had another chance at it!!! Oh well at least my car wasn't $115,000 like the Maserati that only won by 2 cars on a stock Evo X.

Sell your "ricer" car then. I'm gonna continue to do street runs and NOONE but the guys with blue lights can stop me. And so far they haven't. If you try to act like you haven't done a street run or even a street pull, you're lying and you know it. I'm sick of the hypocrites and liars on here. Get a life. If you wanna be "holier than thou", go to church.

hahahaha
Ahhhh....
I love the track and the street. I hate that after my first time at the track i've already broke something, and almost a year of street racing my car was just fine.

Coming home with a friend, G35-S pulls up next to me, we go from a 40 roll.
Not only do I have my 250 pound friend in the passenger seat, but my stock shift knob pops off on the shift from 2nd to 3rd. So I am still WOT against this guy, with my 3rd gear RPM's climbing and I'm blindly feeling around, trying to line up the shift knob back onto the rod all while doing 80 MPH on a two laned road. I finally get it, slap it on, shift down into 4th gear and still managed to pull him by half a car length.
So he slows down, but my turn is up on the right so I get over to his right side, and I see an arm waving me up. I catch up to say good race or whatever and it's the guys girlfriend(cute) in the passenger seat hanging out of the window going "THAT WAS AWESOME, THAT WAS AWESOME, YOU ROCK!" and I glance past her to the driver and both his hands are on the steering wheel and he's looking straight ahead, furiously pissed off, and refuses to look over or anything.
those are the best ones. it just brings a tear to my eye
I actually had my first in the srt4 last night. I was playing with an Audi S4 2.7 twin turbo (I went home and looked it up)
I told my wife that he looks like he wants to race, she thought I was being paranoid.
Well I shot up beside him on the double lane and hit the blow off valve right beside him and he took off. My wife has never been in a race before so I hesitated.
She said "Go he is beating you!" I dropped down into 3rd at 40 mph....Should have went into 2nd but I didn't figure he would be that fast. He had a 1 1/2 jump and by 90 I pulled him 1 car and hit my brakes.
mine would have to be either a c5 vette or cadillac cts-v..... probably closer to the cts-v cuz this sweater-wearing guy seemed so pissed when this, less than $20,000 car spanked his ass. On top of that his wife was hitting him because he started it. AHHH... nothing like a luxury beating.
I told my wife that he looks like he wants to race, she thought I was being paranoid.
My GF always says the same thing, and it's funny because I'm always right. I, and I know other people, seem to pick up on those subtle ways people are driving even if they are behind you and catching up casually, or ahead of you and slowing down nonchalantly. It's rarely a surprise when I see someone wanting to line up with me.
Didn't even own the car 24 hours yet...had been driving all day and all night all the way home from Georgia where I bought the car and was almost home. Was also to the point of passing out from lack of sleep when a 240sx pulled up next to me wanting to race(somehow all of a sudden I was wide awake haha) so he honked off and I left him. THE VERY NEXT REDLIGHT a 300zx pulled up next to me and started revving...so we took off at green and I pulled on him pretty easy too...I guess he wasn't a twin-turbo lol. While I was in the preocess of embarrassing him I blew by 2 cops coming out of the walmart parking lot so i turned down the 1st side road I came to and lucked out. And that's my "Night of the Nissans"
I think I got a new favorite. The other night i'm sitting at a light when this evo runs up beside me. So I look over and ask if he wants to run. He had the nerve to actually say " can you even hang with me" Oh hell naw kid. Can you hang with me is the question. So the light turns green and this vette comes flying out of nowhere and they start racing. They raced about two times and the each time the evo pulled him from the intial hit and the vette couldn't close the gap. So we hit the end of this street before the highway and he makes a u-turn so I follow behind him. He slowed down for me and we did a 40 roll. I break boosted and left his happy ass. When we hit the light he looked like (priceless!)and I just shook my head. I didn't want to be a dick so I said good run and went about my business.
