I like bugs eyes. I was originally going to buy a 03 SVT Cobra but I couldn't afford the funding. Then I decided to buy a 03 WRX, but I saw that little commercial Dodge has on youtube with a SRT-4 smoking the WRX so I brought a SRT-4.
Seen that same commercial. The kid never gets laid though...lol
Before my divorce in 2000 (which caused me to sell) a 1990 Dodge Shadow turbo converted to S60...it ran 12.9s in the low octane mode, 12.1s in high octane mode, and broke into 11.8s with 50 hp shot of nitrous.....and a 85 Dodge Omni GLH that ran 14.0s on 14 psi of boost or 11.8s with the same boost but 150 hp shot of nitrous.
My current wife and I had a 99 Mazda RX5 that ran 15.6s ob motor and 12.6s with 100 hp shot of nitrous...we traded it even for a 2005 Scion Xb since we had just had a baby.....last year we tyraded the Xb evens up for an 05 V6 Tang.
I would be driving one of the first two again (after building replicas), preferably the nicer looking Shadow.
Yeah if you could afford an R34 why did you end up with a neon?
Because the first R34 I saw was ready and then the kid backed down, so when I found a second one they were pulling the motor to put a new RB26DETT in and didnt have wheels and I could not wait a month cause I totaled my other car. Still have skyline plans for the future, but I dont regret buying the SRT.
Would have been stuck in my cavalier much longer, but maybe a GTO when I could have afforded one. Deffinetly wouldnt have been able to get this kind of performance for years later.
Probably, the Dakota that I originally went into the dealership to shop for, but wound up driving my srt off the showroom floor.
~Good question
HA!!! Same here! Went into the dealership, test drove the Dakota and was ready to sign the papers. Then I see this yellow neon and I was like, WTF. Took it for a test drive and was sold. Ordered a silver.
But the most important part of this is I would of not met Jay@N2MB. No homo
Um if they never made the srt eh....hmmm well i know one things for sure, id never have any problems with my srt if they never made it ...wouldnt that be great hah

What kind of problems have you had with it? Were the issues mod related? For the most part it seems like these cars are very reliable, especially considering the performance they provide. I'm very impressed with this car given it's price, performance and reliablity.

I went to the dealer with my 98 Ranger wanting to trade in. I told the dealer I was looking for something fun to drive, two-doors, five/six speed, good on gas. He showed me an 02 Z06! Test drove that of course (even though I didn't want it). I told him a Vette just ain't my style. He said, "You ever hear of the SRT-4?"
And the rest, as they say, is history.
