I like bugs eyes. I was originally going to buy a 03 SVT Cobra but I couldn't afford the funding. Then I decided to buy a 03 WRX, but I saw that little commercial Dodge has on youtube with a SRT-4 smoking the WRX so I brought a SRT-4.
I'd have gone ahead and turbocharged my Dodge Shadow, like I planned to before the purchase of the Neon. now the shadow is back to being my daily driver... just clocked over 230k miles the other day.

You do realize that was just made by a bunch of students, not Dodge. I like bug eye WRX's too, except the transmission is basically a ticking time bomb until you do a full STI tranny swap.

Ahhhh, not what I heard. I heard Dodge made that commercial/short film to show that the SRT-4 was the fastest car under $20,000. My little brother had his 03 WRX for 4 years with 96,000 miles on it and never had any tranny probs. Just traded his in for a 03 Cobra.
1986 dodge daytona turbo z carol shelby edition. From what i have read up...they will out perform an srt on the cornering all day.
Maybe, but probably not. A modestly built-up SRT-4 has fared better in One Lap of America than a more extremely built-up Daytona, both with very good drivers. The Neon has a big weight advantage and a better rear suspension design.

I didn't know you have a Shadow. I've been a big P-body guy ever since I bought an '88 Sundance way back then and drove it for almost 14 years. I've had a few others, and currently have '87 and '89 CSXes.

I thought it was a student made commercial at first then I got to thinking about how well it was done and I figured that dodge did it as kind of a viral advertising thing.
