Default What if they never made the SRT-4?

I was driving to work and thinking how much I like my car and then the thought popped into my head: "What if Dodge never made the SRT-4?"

I then got to thinking what I'd be driving right now if they hadn't. I really don't know, but I'm thinking it'd either be an Evo or r32 for me.

Before the SRT I never owned a car for more than 6 months or so, but this car has broken that cycle big time.

I'm glad as hell that they made the car, but what do you think you guys would have if they didn't?

A 2004 ram 1500. 4x4, hemi, 4 door, 6 foot bed, running boards, bed liner and cover... I miss that truck.

Probably, the Dakota that I originally went into the dealership to shop for, but wound up driving my srt off the showroom floor.

~Good question

I think the reason Dodge went bankrupt is because they quit making the Neon platform. Probably be driving like an '05 Evo.

Pry still be driving my 2000 Dodge Avenger ES...although I was looking for a early 2000's Stratus R/T, I liked the body shape until I found out they had very little power.

Yea, cancelling a car that was heralded as "saving Chrysler" only a decade earlier...

Still, I'm sure ther were many other factors behind their failures.

I would probably be driving a 2005 WRX.

In all seriousness though, without the SRT-4 there would likely not be a Mazdaspeed3, or Cobalt SS S/C or later T/C. This car really opened a lot of eyes around the automotive world
