Well its about that time, when our highs during the day now are about 40* and when I wake up for work they are in the teens-20s... Im going to store the car, but its too cold blooded as is, so here is what I plan on doing
Changing the Penn 20/50 to a Penn 5/30, dropping the E85 tune and for the first time ever in this car, going to a 93 pump tune. Then just dropping the boost box to 15 psi in all gears.. Is there anything you guys use in cold weather as far as additives or anything? I wont be driving it in the winter, but waking this thing up in the mornings is a bear...
It's 10* in the mornings here in Anchorage already and warms up to 25* during the day if we are lucky. We got our first snow fall 4 days ago too! Changed the tires and wheels, and did an oil change. I hate the winters in Alaska, I can't wait to PCS from here.
What coilovers you got, and does that Boeshield T-9 work out pretty good?
I just installed BCs and I live in SD. I want to keep them working/looking good.
I'll be putting on my extra set of wheels with junk tires so if I get a flat spot, big deal.
Will be cleaning the gas tank out, scrubbing it down well. Doing a return line and Bosch 044 so I might as well clean the tank too.
The rest.....eh.......
Just got my 1993 Ford F150 with 281k miles up and running again. Parents gave it to me if I could get it running again. Fuel pump, alternator, power steering line, starter. Less than $300 in it and she runs fine. Love Rockauto.
Throwing winter tires on (pirelli snowsports on 15 inch rims) and changing the oil. Did a Cylinder head swap not too long ago so everything else should be ready to go. The heater in my car should have a hell setting with how hot it blows now....
Yea I'm in ma and ny rears are seized already. Will be trying these on ny fronts so it won't happen to them. My locking rings are seized on all four also lol. All that damn salt.
