Last trip I made to the track also happend to be the first few runs with this car (my first fwd, let alone turbo car). Ran a bunch of runs between 14.6 and 14.8, also one nasty 15.8 (first run). Granted my clutch was slipping all to hell and even bought the bullet on the last run.

I'll be heading back to the tracks in a couple weeks and I'm hoping to at least break into a high 13. New clutch and no boost leaks along with more driving experience with this car, I'm sure I can do it.

One day I want to take a trip down to a track remotely close to sea level. Living near a mountain has it's draw backs. I think we are around 3,700ft or so.

Slicks or drag radials are great but I would want solid motor & trans mounts first. Maybe even control arm bushings.

i couldnt pull faster than 13.4 with stage 2(HOM off) and bolt ons. no traction FTL. i went back on HOM and it wasnt pretty, still on crappy street tires. I know if i had a set of DRs i could prolly hit low 13s high 12s. my buddy ran a 12.9 in his modded WRX(STI turbo, tune and abunch of other junk) and from a roll its a drivers race when im off HOM.

i really want to hit the track on HOM with DRs

with street tires...simple bolt-ons and a driver mod

Intake, downpipe, intercooler, wastegate, map clamp = 13.2's and 110mph trap speeds.

I'm all about MPH and real world ET (aka what it'd do on the street...meaning a street tire)

Like others said though a tire alone would be enough on a stocker for mid 13s)
