Default Water Leak!!!! Major!!!

So after the awesome rainstorm we had this weekend in Pa and the northeast, i go out to my car and get ready to go out for some grub. Got in started it up and my girl hops in says what the hell, i look over and there is water over my ruibber mat inside my car on passenger side front! There was 1 1/2" of water in the damn car! only on the passenger side tho but shit thats alot! Plus whatever the carpet sucked up.........i was so pissed to see that i vascumned the water out while it was drizzling yet and call the dodge dealership and left a message on the machine there....... They said the "Water Leak Specialist" comes on wednesday anytime from 8am-4pm.......So i was wondering is this a Normal thing to have godam floods in your car? Especially since they have routine sub-contractor water leak specialist come in every week!! Called otyher dealers and they have same thing but later in the week........
Oh btw the water was coming in from behind the dashboard on passenger side and just running down the front wall where ur feet are........and rthe car was jsut sitting in my driveway(which is level) and i wasnt even driving in the rain....

So anyone else have a leak prob in their car? Wierd thing is it doesnt leak when i wash my car so i dunno whats up. Im assuming its coming from a missed caulk/weld joint in that "trough" where your windshield wipers come out of that black thing, where its secluded from the engine bay.........but i dunno im just so upset that a brand new car (bought in late april) can have that bad of a leak!

Anyone else have this? What did you do if so? Anything else i can look for?
Thanks chris

ive heard of this. was your car parked on an incline? I've heard that some cars have bad seals there and if you let water pool at the bottom of the windshield it can get in just like that

It happens usually when you park on an incline facing downwards...

You know, I was wondering the same thing. I've noticed how easy my windows fog when it's kinda cold out. This usually happens in cars that have excess water inside. I have yet to find any though.

My last ride was a '02 Liberty Limited. Last winter I had to have the windshield replaced because it got cracked. The idiot that reinstalled the new glass didn't seal the top. Ofcourse the next day it rained buckets and it filled both front carpet with about 1" of water. The glass company at first wasn't going to clean up the mess they made stating that my Jeep was prone to leaks. Well, I was pissed off, they finally corrected everything, and he gave be a TSB on a leaking( in most cases missing) drain tube off the AC unit.

LOL! Who cares how you park up,down, sideways, upside down, etc. It's a car and it shouldn't leak water. I had my car for about 4 months and it started to leak water. Read my threads! I believe I have a good case because of the invoices that I've keep and pictures of the water in my car.

You know? If everyone was to complain about how many problems the SRT's had there would be a big recall. But since there are sooo many SRT big heads out there proud that our neon's smoked a ricer they are will to take headaches after headaches for just a few mins of "I smoke your ricer".

I had this problem, anytime it rained it was damp or really wet on the passenger side floor took it in a couple of times. After the second or third time can't remember they fixed it. One of the cowls wasn't sealed right, don't know if mine was a special case but ask them to check that.
